This is a traditional communion from Common Worship led by Rev’d Peter Massey, It’s followed by coffee and cakes.

All Saints’ Day Celebration!
10.45 am Holy Communion and bring and share lunch to celebrate All Saints Sunday. As this occasion is like the church’s birthday we are pleased to be joined by visiting priest, Rev’d Gillian Watson, friend of All Saints’ and a former parishioner. The service will be followed by a bring and share lunch.

3. 00 pm at Christ Church Parbold – Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance
A gentle & reflective service for those who have lost loved ones over the past few years. The service will last about 45 minutes with well- known hymns and music and there will be an opportunity for those who wish to light a candle and have the name of the person they would like to remember read out. All are very welcome.

The service of praise and worship will be led by Parbold’s Praise Band and Danny & Shirley Rhodes will be giving an update on life and mission in Skelmersdale.

Evenings in Advent ( Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 12th& Wednesday 19th December) 8.00 pm – 8.30 pm Compline (Night Prayer) at All Saints’ Appley Bridge.
Compline or Night Prayer is a peaceful and lovely Anglican prayer liturgy. The short meetings will involve: prayer, muisc, a 5 minute talk and a short time of silence in the candle light. They will be joint events for Christ Church and All Saints’. Reader Diane will be leading. Book yourself a little peace to contemplate the reason for the season. All welcome.
