Soul Action Café 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm Sunday Evenings in Term Time in Christ Church Parbold.
Our Sunday night Christian youth group was is a run jointly with Christ Church Parbold. It is for young people aged 11-18. It involves Café-style music, food, worship, games, themes etc.
The sessions involve some chill out time as well as a range of Christian discussion and activity.
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all meet at Appley Bridge Community Centre (known locally as the Scout Hut) on Appley Lane North.
Beavers is an organisation for children aged from 5¾ to 8 years old. They meet on Thursdays from 6.00 – 7.00 pm.
Cubs is for children aged 7½ – 10½ years old. They meet on Mondays from 6.30pm to 8.00 pm.
Scouts is for young people aged 10½ – 14½ years old. They meet each Monday evening with the Cubs at Appley Bridge Community Centre (known locally as the Scout Hut) on Appley Lane North. The Cubs and Scouts are looking for helpers. If you think you could help, please contact church via our email and we’ll pass your details on. No previous experience necessary.
Rainbows, Brownies and Guides
Our Rainbows, Brownies and Guides all meet in the main hall at All Saints’ C of E Primary School, Appley Bridge.
Rainbows is for girls aged 5 to 7. They meet on Tuesday 4.40 to 5.40pm.
Brownies caters for girls aged 7 – 10. They meet on Tuesdays 5.45pm – 7.15pm.
Guides caters for girls aged 10 – 14. Guides also have a senior section. They meet on Tuesdays 7.30pm – 9.00 pm.
Girls’ Friendly Society
The Girls’ Friendly Society (GFS) is for girls aged 7 – 18. They meet at church (outdoors in summer) every Friday evening between 7.00 pm and 8.30 pm. The group meets in school holidays as well as during term time.
GFS encourages personal and spiritual development through a range of fun-filled activities.
